
IMPORTANT INFORMATION
BIB Collection Dates
Please ensure that you collect your bibs on the dates mentioned above. Bibs will NOT be posted to individual addresses nor be distributed on race day, i.e. 15th December, 2024.At the time of bib collection, participants are requested to carry:
Printout or Digital Copy of Event Registration: Once you register for the event, you will receive a confirmation payment receipt. Please bring along a printed copy of the receipt. Alternatively, you can save the receipt on your smartphone and show it to our representative at the registration counters. Please note that this is applicable only if the registered participant is visiting the registration counters in person.
Proof of Identity: Please carry a proof of identity in original, for example, your Aadhar card, Passport, Voter ID card, or PAN card, for verification purposes. Ensure that you collect the original documents from our volunteer before exiting the counter.
In case you are unable to come in person, your representative needs to carry:
- A printed copy of the email confirmation.
- Photocopy of your (the participant’s) proof of identity, for example, your Aadhar card, Voter ID card, Passport, or PAN card.
- A photocopy of his/her proof of identity, for example, his/her Aadhar card, Passport, school/college identity card, Voter ID card, or PAN card. Please note that your entry to this event is not transferable under any circumstances.
Rules and Regulations
Event Organisation: The event is organised under the aegis of the Maharashtra Amateur Athletic Association (MAAA) and adheres to AIMS standards for route measurement, qualifying for major races across India.
Timing Method: Timings will be recorded using an electronic timing chip.
Age Group Participation: Each participant may compete in only one eligible age group.
Registration Deadline: Registration will close on 2nd December 2024 at 12:00 midnight or when the maximum number of running places is filled, whichever comes first.
BIB Distribution: BIBs will be distributed on 12th and 13th December 2024 from 11:00 am to 7:00 pm, and on 14th December 2024 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. The venue will be announced soon.
Mandatory Documents for BIB Collection:
i) Application acknowledgement receipt (soft or hard copy)
ii) Proof of age for verification along with a photocopy
iii) Authority letter if collecting the BIB on behalf of another participant
Race Pack Collection: Details for race pack collection will be available on the website www.mazdock10k.com. Please check regularly for updates.
Participation Kit Distribution: No participation kits will be distributed on the event day or sent to individual addresses post-event.
Non-Transferable BIBs: The BIB assigned to a participant is non-transferable. Requests for cancellation or refunds will not be entertained.
Cut-Off Time: Runners will not be allowed to remain on the course beyond the cut-off time due to safety and health considerations. Cooperation is requested.
Final Decision: The decision of the race organisers is final and binding.
Event Modifications: The event organiser reserves the right to modify the date, venue, distance, race start time, and other aspects of the event at any time.
Terms & Condition
Accuracy of Information: I affirm that the information provided by me/my ward in this entry form is accurate. I am solely responsible for ensuring the correctness of this information.
Risk and Responsibility: I acknowledge the risks involved in participating in the ‘Mazdock Mumbai 10K Challenge’ and accept full responsibility for any risks associated with the event. I understand that my/my ward’s participation is entirely at my/his/her own risk.
Fitness and Medical Clearance: I understand that participating in this physically demanding event requires a suitable level of fitness. I confirm that I/my ward have obtained medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner to participate in the event.
Waiver of Claims: I on behalf of myself/ourselves and our legal representatives, waive any and all claims against all stakeholders associated with the event. This includes, but is not limited to, directors, management, political entities, authorities, officials, contractors, construction firms, employees, agents, and representatives. This waiver covers any claims resulting from participation in the event, including illness, injury, or death.
Emergency Medical Treatment: I irrevocably authorize event officials and organizers to transport me/my ward to a medical facility and/or administer emergency medical treatment at my/our risk and cost if needed. I waive any claims related to such transport, treatment, or any deficiencies therein, and agree to reimburse any incurred medical and emergency expenses.
Provision of Medical Data: I agree to provide race officials with any requested medical data related to me/my ward. However, nothing in this agreement obligates event officials or organizers to incur any expenses or provide transport or treatment.
Force Majeure: In the event of illness, injury, or death caused by force majeure circumstances (including but not limited to fire, riots, civil disturbances, earthquakes, storms, typhoons, or terrorism), I/my ward or my/my ward’s representatives shall not hold any sponsors, political entities, authorities, contractors, construction firms, or individuals associated with the event liable.
Data Sharing: I understand and agree that the Mazdock Mumbai 10K Challenge committee may share the information provided in this application with any entities associated with the event at its discretion.
Use of Photographs: I consent to the Mazdock Mumbai 10K Challenge using any photographs taken of me/my ward on the event day for promotional purposes at its discretion.
Compliance with Instructions: I agree to follow all instructions provided by the organizers to ensure my health and safety during the event.
Non-Refundable Entry Fee: I acknowledge that if I/my ward am unable to attend the event for any reason, no refund of any form will be provided.
Responsibility for Entry Form and Fee: I accept that the organizers and event sponsors are not responsible for any loss of my/his/her entry form or entry fee during transit.
